مدرنیته و دانشگاه: نقش دانشگاه به عنوان یک نهاد مدرن در شکل‌گیری سیاست‌های زندگی برای دختران دانشجو — یک مطالعه کیفی

این پژوهش با هدف بررسی نقش دانشگاه به عنوان نهادی مدرن در شکل‌گیری سیاست‌های زندگی دختران دانشجو و نحوه بازاندیشی آنان در هویت اجتماعی و مواجهه با تبعیض انجام شد. این مطالعه با رویکرد کیفی و روش پدیدارشناسی اجرا شد. داده‌ها از طریق مصاحبه عمیق و نیمه‌ساختاریافته با ۳۰ دانشجوی دختر در سه طیف نگرشی فمینیست، غیرسنتی و مذهبی-سنتی گردآوری شد. انتخاب مشارکت‌کنندگان به‌صورت نمونه‌گیری هدفمند و گلوله برفی انجام گرفت و تحلیل داده‌ها با روش کدگذاری و استخراج مضامین اصلی صورت پذیرفت. نتایج نشان داد فمینیست‌ها حاکمیت الگوهای مردسالارانه و تبعیض فراگیر را عامل محدودیت زنان می‌دانستند و بر مقاومت و خوداثباتی تأکید داشتند. غیرسنتی‌ها بر تبعیض در بازار کار، محدودیت نمایش بدنی و تحصیلی، و نقش سنت‌های مردسالار در بازتولید نابرابری‌ها تمرکز کردند و آموزش و فرهنگ‌سازی را راهکار دانستند. مذهبی-سنتی‌ها ضمن رضایت نسبی از پیشرفت وضعیت زنان، بر نوسازی قوانین و تفسیر نوگرایانه از احکام اسلامی برای رفع تبعیض تأکید داشتند. دانشگاه به‌عنوان منبع هویت‌بخش مدرن فرصتی برای دختران فراهم کرده است تا هویت اجتماعی خود را بازتعریف کنند، از نقش‌های سنتی فاصله بگیرند و برای دستیابی به برابری و کنترل سیاست زندگی خود تلاش نمایند. با این حال، تداوم ساختارهای مردسالار و محدودیت‌های فرهنگی نیازمند راهکارهای چندسطحی از آگاهی فردی تا تغییرات قانونی و فرهنگی است.
