Investigating the Impact of Lifelong Learning-Based Curricula on the Development of Self-Management Skills

This article investigates the impact of lifelong learning-based curricula on the development of self-management skills. The study reviews existing literature on the definitions and approaches of lifelong learning, focusing on how these curricula contribute to enhancing self-management abilities such as self-awareness, self-regulation, and independent decision-making. Through a descriptive analysis of selected studies, the research highlights the positive effects of lifelong learning programs in fostering self-management skills among students and professionals. However, it also notes the potential challenges and limitations, such as increased stress when these programs are poorly designed or implemented. The findings suggest that properly structured lifelong learning curricula can significantly improve individuals' ability to manage their personal and professional lives effectively. The article concludes with recommendations for future research and practical applications in educational program design to maximize the benefits of lifelong learning for self-management development.
